Episode 03: The Lyre of Achilles

The Lyre of Achilles narrates Achilles’ last night before he dies in the war on Troy. On that night, Achilles sings songs of battle and glory, accompanied by a lyre he took from the spoils of war. An old bard appears before Achilles in his tent, reclaiming the lyre for himself.

In this episode, Elena Borelli discusses The Lyre of Achilles with Francesca Irene Sensini. The poem starts at minute 14.10.
